Travel Notification Disclosure and Acknowledgment

For your protection, Citizens Bank of the South and/or our card fraud monitoring service may contact you by telephone, text message, or email to verify certain card transactions while you are traveling. Please provide a current mobile telephone number and email address that you will be able to access during your trip.

By providing your email address and/or mobile telephone number, you agree to receive transaction verification and fraud alerts by email and/or text message. If you are not already enrolled to receive these alerts, you authorize Citizens Bank of the South and/or its card fraud monitoring service to enroll you using the contact information provided.

If we are unable to contact you, or if you do not respond to a transaction verification request, a transaction may be declined and your card may be temporarily blocked or restricted until the transaction or account activity can be verified.

Submitting a travel notification does not guarantee that all card transactions will be approved. VISA, Citizens Bank of the South, and/or our card fraud monitoring service may continue to monitor your card for potentially fraudulent or unusual activity while you are traveling.

Message and data rates may apply for text messages, depending on your mobile service plan. If you are traveling internationally, we recommend contacting your cellular service provider before your trip to review international calling, texting, and data options to help ensure you can receive transaction verification and fraud alerts while abroad.
